Property Investors That Struggle Fail To Understand The Fundamentals
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The fundamentals don’t change.
In my opinion, life and the investment property business parallel one another in many different ways.
We all have 24 hours in a day and the last time I checked, nobody has been able to squeeze out 26 or 27 hours out of the same time frame.
The laws of nature just don’t work that way in this world of ours. But one insight has proven to be true more than any other idea I’ve come across in a long time.
“What we focus on expands.”
Earl Nightingale in “The Strangest Secret” said, “We become what we think about, most of the time.” Take the time to absorb some of Nightingale’s work, you’ll be glad that you did.
How you spend your time not only as a real estate entrepreneur and residential investment property investor, but as a regular individual living his or her life will have the biggest impact on what kind of enduring legacy you leave behind (if any).
- People who spend most of their time in bars and liquor stores end up with a certain result.
- People who spend most of their time in the casinos end up with a certain result.
- People who spend most of their time delivering value to the market place also end up with a certain result.
I think you get the idea here. Focus on delivering value to the real estate investing and income property markets place and doing good for others. Avoid harming anyone in any way and always leave everything on the field.
There are no dress rehearsals. The game of life is always running and there are no time outs.
Take advantage of every opportunity and make every play count. When you look back on your life, you want to be filled with gratitude and deep appreciation.
You don’t ever want to look back on this time in your life with regret.
